First journal of 2008. And it comes on February. Shit, I really need to do something about my languishing dA account.

As some of you may have known by now,

I FINALLY HAVE ATTENDED MY FIRST EVER LIVE CONCERT!!! AND WHAT A CONCERT IT WAS!!!

IRON MAIDEN!!!!


OK all that fever has died down now. Iron Maiden, complete with Eddie toured Bangalore on Feb 15. Getting tickets, arranging train tickets to go there, bunking college, fearing repressive action from home, everything had taken a toll. But it was worth all that, all the twelve hours standing in the sun (yes, even I got a tan) listening to all those incompetent supporting bands was worth the effort. Plus I had paid good money to see them live and I wasted NO sympathy in standing ground on first row.


In other news, two colleges have rejected my applications - University of Texas Dallas and NC State University. The inner feeling of satisfaction is unparalleled, fully aware that all the money and effort spent in applications were totally futile.

Strangely I don't feel like writing too much in my journals.


Furthermore, my dear friend has finally joined dA after a LOT of persuasion. Therefore please support her work by popping into her gallery and admiring Mother Nature's true beauty.
