_{Nowadays I seem to be posting only one journal a month...hmm}

I think this time the title makes sense to what I'm undergoing this month. My balls are literally hanging on the wall - I'm as busy as hell these days trying to apply for a college in the USA. Strangely these people seem to make it all the more difficult for an international student to obtain any sort of admission there. I have obtained at least 300 individual signatures by now, 700 stamps, 600 pages of A4 paper,170 individual envelopes, the list keeps on going. All this expense just for 8 colleges.

Anyway I'm thankful to the fact that most of this crap job is over-coaxing the teachers for recommendations(they hardly even know me) trying to project myself as some outstanding example of a human being, convince the parents about the benefits of applying to the US and not here (Believe me, all you naysayers - higher education in India is WORSE than the USA)

Plus this recession thing.The worries about having sufficient money to fund my education are never-ending. This Obama better do some kind of his so-called "change" and do something to bring the world back to normal. On a higher note, petrol prices are going down - will air fares reduce? Only time will tell. But thats not the least of my problems.

But even if I DO get admission in a college, the worries are far from over. Getting a study visa is another painful job.I have more running around to do. So far whatever I have done is just a minor part of the whole game.

After the visa is finalised - then theres no looking back. You people better watch out because Kris the King is soon going to be knocking at your door!
